See the books ↓How it works
Two languages on every page
Dutch on top, the second language below. Dad reads one, Grandma reads the other, and everyone joins in.
Short sentences, lots of repetition
A line that keeps coming back, to say out loud together. New words stick all by themselves.
Perfect for bedtime
Soft illustrations and gentle stories about friendship, courage and being different. For ages 2 to 6.
Why always Dutch?
Every book is built on Dutch. That way one book works in both directions.
Learn a new language from Dutch
For Dutch and Flemish families who want their child to discover English, German, French or another language through play.
Expats and newcomers: learn Dutch
Living in the Netherlands or Belgium as an expat or newcomer? Read together in your own language, with the Dutch right there on the page. You and your child learn the new language at the same time.
Two languages at home
For families where Mum and Dad speak different languages, and for grandparents abroad. Everyone reads along in their own language.
The perfect holiday gift
A book in two languages is a gift that lasts. For a grandchild abroad, a bilingual family or a toddler discovering new words. Order in time and it'll be under the tree!

Frequently asked questions
What age are the books for?
For children aged 2 to 6. The sentences are short and there is a line that keeps coming back, so you can say it together.
Do I need to speak Dutch to read aloud?
No. Every page is in Dutch and in the second language. Just read the language you speak, and your child hears the other one too.
Where can I buy the books?
The books are available as paperbacks on Amazon. Choose the language you want on the book page.
Which languages are available?
Every book is Dutch plus one second language: English, Afrikaans, German, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian, Polish, Ukrainian or Frisian.
Do the books help with learning Dutch?
Yes. Expats and newcomers read the story in their own language with the Dutch right there on the page, so parent and child pick up Dutch words together.
Isn't it confusing for a child to hear two languages?
No. Young children are very good at growing up with more than one language. The pictures and the repeated line help them understand both versions of the story.
